  • Overview

Oral selective estrogen receptor degraders (SERDs) are rapidly reshaping the treatment landscape in breast cancer, offering targeted treatment approaches that have demonstrated improvements in progression-free survival and expanded options for patients with ER-positive/HER2-negative disease. Recent ASCO data highlighted the growing role of oral SERDs in optimizing treatment sequencing, addressing ESR1 mutations, and supporting personalized care across early-stage and metastatic settings. These therapies may also facilitate more convenient, patient-centered management while advancing precision medicine approaches in breast cancer care.
